Other names for gentian include bitter root, feltwort, gall weed, pale gentian, stemless gentian, and yellow gentian.

 

Jade Beauty Tea is very famous in China very it is drank every morning. It is said that Chinese girls drink it everyday to watch out for their weights and to keep their fair skin complextion. It is believes that it helps to clear acne from the skin and for loosing weight. A caffeine free herbal tea. During the summer, the herb is extracted from the roots and rhizome (underground stem) of 2- to 5-year-old Gentiana lutea L. plants. Most Gentian root is used to treat digestive ailments and as an appetite stimulator. It can be used topically to treat wounds and painful inflammation or gargled to treat soar throats.

Gentian Tea Benefits have been acknowledged in the annals of the herbal medicine sphere for quite some time now.

Add 1-2 tsp dry Gentian flowers into the glass (or teapot)

 

Wash them with hot water.

 

Pour hot water into the glass again and wait for about 3 minutes.

 

Strain the flowers.

 

Add 2 tsp honey.

Take 1 tsp  dry Gentian, 1 tsp rosebuds, 1 tsp lily.

 

Mix them up.

 

Pour boiling water onto the flowers, wash them and strain.

 

Pour the hot water into the glass again and stew for 20-30 secs.

 

Strain the flowers.

 

Add 2 tsp honey, enjoy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Since Gentian Tea is so bitter, many manufacturers combine it with other more pleasant-tasting herbs but does not diminish the tea benefits whatsoever.

Avoid this herb if you’re pregnant.

Know that the best way to take gentian is by brewing a tea.

Don’t collect the herb in the wild because nonflowering G. lutea may be hard to distinguish from the poisonous white hellebore.

Gentian consumption may cause irritation in persons who have ulcers by stimulating too much stomach acid.

Excessive consumption of Gentian can cause headache, nausea or vomiting.
